Simple Lo Mein Recipe
This is a simple and adaptable common Hong Kong meal for you to enjoy. This can be eaten by itself or add some sides such as vegetables, eggs or meats are optional.

Ingredients
- Any noodle of your choice (Recommend knife cut noodles or instant noodles)
- 1 tbsp Light soy sauce (For saltiness)
- 2 tbsp Dark soy sauce (For colour)
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce (For flavour)
This will already be moderately salty, feel free to add any spices do suit it your tastes.
Directions
- Get a pot and boil some water.
- While the water is boiling, prepare a separate bowl and place in your sauces and mix together.
- Once the water reaches boiling put your noodles in.
- Cook the noodles to al dente (tender but firm, slightly chewy, not mushy or hard)
- Drain the water from the noodles once cooked.
- Put the noodles into the bowl with your sauces and mix thoroughly.
Optionally place some vegetables, eggs or meats to your liking.
